# About topratedvets.com

A local directory that only lists real, verified, highly rated businesses - built so pet owners can find a well-reviewed clinic.

topratedvets.com is part of the Top Rated network, a family of city and state directories covering the best-reviewed local businesses, including veterinarians and animal hospitals, across the United States. The network is owned and operated by Haygood Ideas, Inc., a Florida company.

We are not a lead reseller. We do not sell your phone call to five contractors. We list the businesses that have already earned their reputation with customers, we verify claims before marking a listing as claimed, and we keep rankings honest - see exactly how on our [methodology page](/methodology/).
