## What you should know

A huge, slow, yellow and red Florida grasshopper. Poisonous if a pet eats one.

## Whoa

When it gets scared it hisses and foams at you. It is a grasshopper doing its best impression of a monster.

## Staying safe around it

This one is poisonous. Look, do not touch. Ask a grown-up and call a vet.

**Always ask a grown-up before you touch any animal or plant.** If something bites or stings you, tell an adult right away.
